FAQs

What services do you offer?

1

We currently offer Registered Massage Therapy.

Will my therapist be a REGISTERED therapist?

2

Yes! All of our Therapists are BC Registered Massage Therapists (RMT), accredited and regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC.

In the event that we have a student RMT, it will be clearly posted at the clinic and online booking that they are not yet registered.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

3

No, you do not need a doctor's referral see an RMT in BC, but if your doctor has given you a referral, we would appreciate having a copy of it on file to add to your current relevant medical history. (You will require a doctor's referral if you have an active ICBC claim or if required by your extended medical insurance policy (including VAC/DVA.), however please see the following question about ICBC).

Do you accept ICBC or Worksafe (WCB)?

4

Unfortunately we are not accepting any ICBC or WCB related claims. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

6

At the moment, we do not have gift certificates available. Stay tuned!

What information will I need to bring?

7

You will be asked to fill out a confidential health history form before your first treatment. It will be emailed to you or you can fill out a paper version upon arrival at the clinic. We ask that you only sign the consent portion once you discuss your treatment plan with your RMT during your treatment.
For subsequent treatments, we will assess you to keep your medical record updated, including asking questions like the reason for your current treatment. Please let us know if there is anything new or different in your health on each and every visit.
You will be required to sign a written Consent to Treatment form for each new RMT you see at the clinic, but only on the first visit that you see them.

Do you work with prenatal/maternity patients?

8

Yes! There are plenty of options for receiving massage through pre and post natal life phases. We have maternity cushions specially designed for prenatal patients to be able to safely and comfortably lay face down, in addition to other options including side lying or seated. Please talk with one of our therapists if you have questions, to try to find the best fit for you.
